What you'll do:

  • Lead the delivery of cost-effective services construction per project design and delivery brief
  • Drive compliance with all safety, quality, design, authority and building code requirements
  • Partner with internal stakeholder to procure services consultants and subcontractors
  • Meet all client requirements by way of services packages in head and subcontracts
  • Ensure that all project documentation meets brief and procurement requirements
  • Pursue application of relevant green building / sustainability rating requirements
  • Project manage work of subcontractors for installation of services packages
  • Oversee programs / job plans, adjusting as required to meet the schedule
  • Create and manage services design and pertaining procurement program
  • Govern rectification of issues raised by external and internal stakeholders
  • Manage assessment of sub-contractor claims and recommend approval
  • Supervise the rectification of services defects by subcontractors
  • Deliver monthly reporting for services installation progress
  • Identify new technologies for improving operations

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), or equivalent trade background
  • 6 to 10+ years’ relevant industry experience in services engineering, consulting, or coordination
  • Prior Tier 1 or 2 builder experience on large commercial building services projects
  • Thorough understanding and practical knowledge of the NCC / BCA and relevant building services requirements
  • Sound construction knowledge and understanding of building / construction trades
  • Extensive experience coordinating services subcontractors / consulting engineers
  • Well versed with quality and safety requirements on construction projects
  • Exposure to pursuits as part of the bidding process
  • Well-developed planning, project management, client management, negotiation, collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills
